We will be attending the Atlanta Braves versus the Chicago Cubs at Turner Field. Ticket price will include transportation and entrance into Turner Field. Game is at 7:30 p.m., followed by fireworks. Sign up sheets to reserve space for this trip begins in May. Tickets will include transportation and entrance to Turner Field. The price of tickets is $35.00 per person.

The Georgia National Fair is one of the largest state fairs in the Southeast. Events include demonstrations of arts and crafts, carnival games and rides, live shows, and lots of food. Tickets will include transportation to the fair in Perry, GA and entrance into the fair. More information will be available in the summer.

The Center for Puppetry Arts will have a special program in honor of Black History Month, entitled Ruth and the Green Book. This program focuses on Ruth and her family as she moves from Chicago back to the South during the 1950's time of segregation. The Green Book enables her family to navigate through the difficulties of a segregated America. This show is adults and children 10 and order. Ticket price will include transportation and entrance into the Center. More information will be available in January 2012.

Every other year the parish sponsors a day trip by bus to Lake Lanier for the largest Christmas holiday lights display in the Southeastern United States. The next time the parish takes the trip is scheduled during December, 2012. The cost of the transportation is usually $25 (includes bus trip and entrance into Lake Lanier). A dinner stop will be during the trip (dinner cost will be on each individual).
