MBS PARISH: OH YES, WE "CAN" ... RECYCLE |
| |
Join our Middle School and High School teens as
they lead us with their Service for Christ Recycling Campaign "Oh Yes We Can".
Bring your aluminum cans to Most Blessed
Sacrament to be recycled. (A RECYCLING BIN FOR
CANS IS LOCATED BY THE DUMPSTER AREA OFF OF THE PARKING LOT BEHIND
THE CHURCH). We "CAN" make a difference in making our
Earth a cleaner place by Recycling - IN
ADDITION THE RECYCLED CANS WILL HELP RAISE MONEY FOR OUR PARISH’S YOUTH
MINISTRY PROGRAM. Every can recycled will help our parish
ministry and help our local environment.

The Sacrament of
Confirmation is usually celebrated with teens beginning in the 10th
grade. The preparation program is a two year long process of service,
personal witness to the presence of Christ in the teen's faith journey,
and study of the scriptures and teachings of the Catholic Church. A teen
is expected to be involved in the parish's High School Ministry Program
(or enrolled in a Catholic High School) and will chose a sponsor
(mentor) to accompany them during the preparation program. The
Sacrament of Confirmation Preparation Schedule will be available here. |
