Sacraments of Christian Initiation

   Sacrament of Baptism For infants and children under 6 (for adults: see RCIA).
   Sacrament of Confirmation :  For teens, 10th grade and above, also for adults (must have been baptized previously in Catholic Church: see RCIA).
  First Holy Communion: For children (2nd grade and above) / For adults: see RCIA.

Preparation to receive each Sacrament is required. For more information please refer to our

Parish School of Religion and Faith Formation Program Handbook, or visit our School of Religion page.

Sacramental preparation program for children and teens is a two (2) year process.

For youth, enrollment in either a Catholic School or the Parish's School of Religion is required

the year prior to receiving any of the Sacraments.

Rite of Christian Initiation (RCIA): This program is for adults and older children who have never

received the Sacrament of Baptism. This program also serves those seeking to become part of the Catholic Church but were baptized and raised in a different Christian faith tradition.

 

Usually persons who participate in the RCIA Program are received into the Church at Easter,

when they will receive the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Holy Communion.

 

Interested individuals or families should contact the Pastor.

 Sacrament of Reconciliation  (Confession & Penance)

First Saturday of every month at 11:15a.m. in the Church.

Communal Reconciliation Services: During Advent Season and Lenten Season

For other times, contact Priest for individual appointment for confession.

 

 Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick (Healing)

Whenever there is a serious illness, contact the Parish Office to arrange for a Priest to celebrate this Sacrament at the Church, at your home, or the hospital. The Sacrament may also be celebrated at the Church prior to hospitalization, by contacting the Priest to arrange a day and time.

First Wednesday of the Month - Prayers for Healing Offered During Celebration of the Mass (7:00 p.m.).

The Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick is also offered during the Mass.

 

 Sacrament of Holy Marriage

Couples should contact the Parish Office prior to making any arrangements, and at least six (6) months prior to a proposed marriage date. Pre-marriage instructions will be arranged with the Priest or Deacon at the first meeting.

 

 Sacrament of Holy Orders

For information about becoming a priest or permanent deacon, contact our parish office to arrange an appointment.
