CELEBRATION OF THE STATIONS OF
THE CROSS
SUNDAYS - Each Sunday at 10:45a.m.
during Lent we will conduct a 15 minute "Stations of the Cross"
prayer service in the church. Station programs are available for
personal use at any time.
FRIDAYS - Each Friday at 7:00p.m.
during Lent we will celebrate the Passion of our Lord Jesus
through our collective prayer and scriptural reflections on the
14 Stations of the Cross. During this Friday spiritual
observance we petition God to strengthen our pilgrimage as
disciples of His Son, Jesus Christ.

Rules for Fasting and Abstinence
The law of fast obliges all those from ages
18 through 59 to refrain from eating between meals and to limit
their eating to one full meal and two lighter meals for the day
(except for medical reasons). All days of Lent are days of
Fasting.
The law of abstinence obliges those 14 years
of age and older not to eat meat. In the United States, all
Fridays of Lent are days of abstinence from meat.
Ash Wednesday and Good Friday are days of
both fasting and abstinence from meat.
