Ever since the Council of Ephesus (431 A.D.) the image of the Blessed Virgin Mary wearing a regal crown became part of the Christian tradition. The growth of a special liturgy of dedication to Mary, Queen of Heaven and Earth spread throughout the Church, especially in the 16th century when various popes encouraged the practice. Today around the world this tradition continues, during which an image of the Blessed Virgin Mary is venerate by a special coronation because Mary is the Mother of the Son of God, Christ Jesus, and also because she shows herself to be the perfect follower of Christ. Our parish will celebrate a special coronation liturgy acknowledging the Blessed Virgin Mary as Queen on Sunday, May 4, 2007 at 10:45 a.m. As we begin the month of May, a month we traditionally honor all mothers, let us join together in honoring the Blessed Virgin Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ and the mother of the Church.

Most Blessed Sacrament's two - count them - two "Make A Difference For Christ" Parish Service projects. The first is the Church Prayer Garden being constructed behind the parish center building; the second is the Rosary Prayer Garden which will be built near the entrance of our property. More information will be made available as to how you can help and make a difference from Christ by participating in these projects for our parish.

	MEN'S CLUB ANNUAL OUTING AND FISHING TRIP 2008 annual outing and fishing trip to Jacksonville, Florida. George Greene is in the process of making hotel (Hyatt Regency) accommodations and boat reservations for the weekend of June 27 - June 29, 2008. If you plan on attending this year's event $100.00 will secure your reservations. Please make your check payable to George Greene and mail to him at 558 Rivers Road, Fayetteville, GA 30214. E-Mail George Greene George must receive your check no later than Thursday March 20, 2008 in order to hold your reservations.
